Hi, I'm Hanan — the founder and home cook behind Salt & Hearth.

Salt & Hearth started with a simple frustration: I'd save a recipe video, and when it was finally time to cook, half the details weren't there. No exact measurements, no times, no temperatures — just a fast-moving clip and a lot of guessing in the kitchen.

So I started writing the recipes out properly. I make the food in my own kitchen, note down what actually works, and publish the full version — complete ingredient lists, real times and temperatures, and the small tips that make the difference between a recipe that just works and one that tastes even better.

I'm not a trained chef — I'm a home cook who loves comfort food and got tired of recipes that didn't tell the whole story. Everything here is the recipe I'd actually want when I'm standing at the stove.
