Ingredients

Brazilian Cherry Limeade ingredients
  • 6 limes, quartered

  • 1/3–1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 cups cold water, divided
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint, lime slices and whole cherries, to garnish

Method

  1. 1

Add the quartered limes and 3 cups of cold water to a blender. Pulse just a few times — don't over-blend or the pith turns bitter — then strain into a pitcher and set aside.

Tips

  • Pulse the limes only 3–4 times — over-blending releases bitterness from the peel.
  • Serve within the hour; whole-lime drinks turn bitter as they sit.
  • Frozen pitted cherries work when fresh are out of season — no need to thaw.
