Ingredients

Beef & Cheddar Crescent Taco Bento Box ingredients

Crescent tacos

  • 4 crescent roll triangles
  • 3/4 cup taco-seasoned ground beef
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese

To pack

  • Strawberries and grapes
  • Cucumber slices and carrot sticks

Method

  1. 1

Spoon taco beef and cheddar onto each crescent triangle and fold or roll loosely into a taco shape.

  2. 2

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, until golden.

  3. 3

Cool completely, then pack in the bento box with strawberries, grapes, cucumber and carrots.

  4. 4

    Keep chilled until lunchtime.

Tips

  • Don't overfill or the cheese leaks — a heaping tablespoon of beef per triangle is plenty.
  • These freeze great after baking; pack them thawed in the bento box.
  • Cool fully before packing so no steam softens the pastry in the box.
