Ingredients

Crescent tacos
- 4 crescent roll triangles
- 3/4 cup taco-seasoned ground beef
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
To pack
- Strawberries and grapes
- Cucumber slices and carrot sticks
Method
- 1
Spoon taco beef and cheddar onto each crescent triangle and fold or roll loosely into a taco shape.
- 2
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, until golden.
- 3
Cool completely, then pack in the bento box with strawberries, grapes, cucumber and carrots.
- 4
Keep chilled until lunchtime.
Tips
- Don't overfill or the cheese leaks — a heaping tablespoon of beef per triangle is plenty.
- These freeze great after baking; pack them thawed in the bento box.
- Cool fully before packing so no steam softens the pastry in the box.
